my little world.

We’re living in a world where colour is slowly disappearing, and our hope for a brighter future is dimming with it. I make artworks to remind myself how beautiful and mysterious life truly is. I like using intense, fluorescent, offensively bright colours because anything less doesn’t feel honest. I feel so much joy when I paint, and I hope to share that with you. My art is my resistance to gloom, my personal safe haven, where I can be whatever I want.

My philosophy is simple: I believe in ruthless optimism. I believe the best art is born in uncertain times. I believe in nourishing our hope, our grit, our weird creative expressions.

I’ve never denied that this world has dark, evil forces working tirelessly to drain us. In fact, that’s what stopped me from creating for years. But I’ve realised that someone has to be the optimist for a better future to come. The world is built by optimists.

I think a lot about the world and the systems we function under. I read a lot of philosophy and write think pieces in my journal. I want to share my feelings and thoughts about everything!
